Gleneagles

Here I am in Gleneagles, Scotland doing a little off-road driving in the Land Rover 110. It's an amazing machine that that chews up just about any terrain that it faces. It's also lot's of fun to drive. One of the many actitivities here along with falconry, shooting, tennis, swimming, horse riding, and of course golf.

As the next few photos show, Gleneagles really is this odd combination of a very old Scottish country house and a multi-million £ resort.

Quite a selection of whiskeys as well.

Vera's Birthday

Sunday was Vera's third birthday. We woke her up at 7:30 to cake and presents, and in true Vera fashion she cried and moaned about being awoken so early.

Unfortunately, Kajsa had come down with Chicken Pox on Friday so only the children who'd had it already could come to the party - that took the invite list to three and then Holly was sick. So Rebecca and Madeline came over and we played and had cake.

Vera got a like-a-bike for her birthday and she really loves it (nice choice Sofia). So here are a couple photos of Vera and her cake (meringue and berries).
