It's a girl!

The "after" room. We were here first, though, as the labour ward was busy.

Last minutes in cicilian clothing. Let's get this show on the road!

The view from the labour ward/room. Same as with Axel!

Waters have gone, contractions are starting to get uncomfortable.

Epidural is in and working. It's about 2.50pm and life is good again... for about 25 minutes. Then BAM and and hey presto...

15.47 a little girl is born. 3520g, 48cm.

One Winter's Day

Winter is short in the UK!

At 8am....

...and at 3pm!

The baby is coming...

...soon.

Picture number one is at 36 weeks - picture number two at 39 weeks.

Baby Shower

Thank you Julia for organizing a Baby Shower for Sofia at the Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge. Pret-a-Portea, no less, which is absolutely lovely. Thank you to Colleen (whose picture is too blurry to publish), Trea, Taina, Jenny and Zsuzsanna for coming and for thoughtful presents. Katie and Jenny O, you were missed!

Some cakes were taken home to be sampled by the rest of the family. The chocolate ones went down a treat!

Christmas Day

Since the other option - the dodgy Chinese restaurant - was voted out, eleven of us sauntered in to SoHo hotel, where they after first being rather taken aback, seated us in a nice, private dining room and we stayed for 3,5 hours having some rather delicious food!

Jul!

Better late than never, here are a few photos from Christmas 2006.

Christmas tree. Only listing a little!

Nativity scene. Finally in the house, after being held hostage by mormor for 30 years! The olive wood pieces were won by Tant Siri at the church tombola circa 1975.

Carolyn, mormor and Joe at the table

The ham, as well sa a couple of stray lussebullar.

It's 3pm and Disney's Christmas is on. If you're a Swede, you know what it's all about!

It's 3pm on Christmas eve - if you're a Swede, you know what it's all about!
